Come Out With Pride Orlando
512 E Washington St, Orlando, FL 32801
About this happenin
Downtown Orlando hands its streets over for a day each October, and the crowd that fills Lake Eola Park for Come Out With Pride has grown into the largest single-day gathering in Central Florida. The Most Colorful Parade is the draw: more than 250 organizations and businesses march and roll through downtown, church congregations and advocacy groups alongside decorated convertibles carrying drag performers, before the route empties into the park. Around the lake, a vendor marketplace and two stages of local and touring acts carry the afternoon into the evening, and fireworks over the water close the night. The festival has run since 2005 under a volunteer-led nonprofit, and Orlando's Pride carries the memory of Pulse in a way few others do. Know before you go: admission to Lake Eola Park is free, with VIP tickets sold separately. Gates open at noon and the festival runs until 10 p.m. The park is at 512 East Washington Street in downtown Orlando.
