Central Florida Veg Fest
2911 E Robinson St, Orlando, FL 32803
About this happenin
Central Florida Veg Fest takes over Orlando Festival Park for one Saturday each October, with more than 200 vegan vendors, food demos and speakers, and free admission. Run by Vegetarians of Central Florida, it is one of the longest running vegan festivals anywhere, and it is aimed as much at the curious as at committed vegans. On the grass beside Orlando Executive Airport, restaurant booths and packaged goods share the field with an acoustic music stage, a veggie kids zone, an artist corner, and an animal haven where rescues bring adoptable dogs and cats. Know before you go: admission is free and the festival runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Parking is $5 per car on the west side of the park, entered from E. Livingston Street between N. Primrose Drive and Festival Way, with more $5 lots on N. Primrose Drive; disabled parking off Celebration Street is free with a placard. It is family friendly, dog friendly, alcohol free and smoke free. Organizers ask you to bring reusable containers and cutlery, and there is fencing to lock bikes.
