The Orlando Korea Culture Center's two-day Korea Festival is held in December at Avalon Park in east Orlando (3651 Avalon Park East Boulevard). Visitors can try on hanbok between sets by traditional performers, and more than 60 vendors sell food and other goods. The center's K-Pop dance contest holds its finals here, with cash prizes for groups and solo dancers. Entry and parking are free, and the center says thousands come. Bring shade and dress for the weather, because it is an outdoor event. The first day runs 3 to 9pm and the second 10am to 4pm.
More in December: 19 other Orlando events.
