About

A hurricane opened John's Pass between Madeira Beach and Treasure Island in 1848, and John's Pass Village on the Madeira side has more than 100 businesses. Park in the six-floor garage at 179 Boardwalk Place West, which is rarely full. Hubbard's Marina runs dolphin cruises from the pass and gives you a voucher if you don't see any. Madeira's beach runs about 2.5 miles, and people fish from shore off the rocky point at the south end.
