About

Ten dolphins live at this aquarium off the Clearwater Memorial Causeway, and it's the only place in North America to see rescued rough-toothed dolphins. Hope, rescued in 2010 at about 58 pounds, starred in Dolphin Tale 2. Winter lost her tail to a crab trap line and died in 2021; the prosthetic tails she wore are on level 4, in the Tales of Winter exhibit. None of the resident sea turtles can be released, and one of them, a Kemp's ridley named Max, has lived here since 1984. Park in the aquarium's garage, which connects to the entrance and ticketing on level 3.

The aquarium takes two to three hours, and parking is a paid garage on site. Boat tours and animal care experiences cost extra on top of general admission.
