Two nights of bull riding, bronco busting, and barrel racing light up the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds dirt when the Tampa Bay Rodeo rolls into Dover. Alongside the arena, a family festival stacks up mechanical bull rides, axe throwing, bungee trampolines, monster truck rides, and up-close time with goats and camels, plus barbecue, corn dogs, and Cuban sandwiches. A 150-foot American flag flies over the grounds for the country's 250th birthday. Know before you go: gates open at 5 p.m. both Friday and Saturday, with rodeo action starting at 7:30 p.m. It runs rain or shine, and the programming is built for kids and grown-ups alike.
