The steep 4.8-mile Smith Creek Trail runs from Unicoi State Park, about two miles outside Alpine Helen, up to Anna Ruby Falls. The taller of the two falls drops more than 150 feet. Anna Ruby is Forest Service land with its own fee, and no one is admitted after 4 p.m. Kayak and paddleboard rentals run only from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. The zip line course in the park has 19 lines, and the longest is half a mile.
