Sosebee Cove
Blairsville, GA · North Georgia Mountains
A hushed 175-acre cove forest that feels ancient, shading some of Georgia's largest yellow poplars and a state-champion yellow buckeye on a north-facing Blue Ridge slope. A short 0.3-mile double-loop trail, dedicated to legendary Forest Ranger Arthur Woody, winds past towering trunks and one of the South's richest spring wildflower displays of trillium, dutchman's breeches, and squirrel corn. Visit in April for peak bloom.
