Mercier Orchards

Blue Ridge, GA · North Georgia Mountains

About

The apple fried pie at Mercier Orchards in Blue Ridge is made from Adele Mercier's family recipe. She and Bill Mercier bought a 27-acre orchard here in 1943, and she sold their apples out of the apple house. Apple picking usually runs from August into October, and the U-pick tickets, which include a tractor ride through the orchard, are sold only at the farm while there's fruit left. Catch-and-release fishing is free during farm hours.
