About

Railcar No. 91 carried Henry Flagler to Key West in 1912, and you can walk through it in the Flagler Kenan Pavilion at Whitehall, his house in Palm Beach. By 1949 the car was housing migrant farm workers in Virginia. The museum acquired it in 1959 and restored it. Free docent tours of the house's first floor come with admission, Tuesday through Sunday, and take up to 35 people. The Music Room has a 1,249-pipe organ, and Flagler kept a resident organist for it each season.
