About this happenin
Taste of College Park is the Rotary Club of College Park's annual food and wine night, where nearly two dozen neighborhood restaurants, wineries and breweries pour and plate at the Great Southern Box Co. Food Hall and Bar in Orlando's Packing District. One ticket covers the whole circuit of tasting stations, plus live music and a silent and live auction stocked by local businesses. Proceeds go to the Rotary Club of College Park Foundation, which funds free books for local kids, scholarships for graduating seniors and Student of the Month awards at four area schools. Know before you go: wine and beer are served, so the organizers ask guests to plan for a 21+ evening. The event runs 6pm to 9pm, and the Great Southern Box Company has a 300 space parking garage onsite. Tickets are sold in advance through Eventbrite, and with 400 plus guests most years it is worth booking ahead. The online auction opens about 30 days out.
