Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Maitland hosts Orlando Greek Fest for three days every November, with free admission. Saganaki gets flamed to order, and loukoumades come out hot under honey and cinnamon. The kouzina plates braised lamb with rice and stewed green beans, and the grill runs gyro and souvlaki. Four Hellenic dance troupes take turns on the floor between the live band's sets, the smallest children in one and the adults in another. Vendors set up under a large pavilion, and tours of the sanctuary, painted floor to dome in Byzantine iconography, run through the weekend. Two off-site lots on Wymore Road connect to the main entrance by a free air-conditioned shuttle. Parking in the church lot is ten dollars, first come, first served, with accessible spaces for permit holders. The festival opens Friday afternoon and runs into the night. Saturday is all day and Sunday closes early in the evening, rain or shine.

Parking

Free shuttles run from Lot A at Hope Road and Wymore Road and Lot B at Sandspur Road and Wymore Road, and a wheelchair-accessible minibus is part of the fleet. Allow extra time for the ride and for finding a space.
