Every Sunday since 1987, white tents have lined the Lake Eola Park lakefront at East Central Boulevard and North Eola Drive for the Orlando Farmers Market, downtown Orlando's original open-air market. Twenty to twenty-five vendors set up along the water with Florida produce, indoor and outdoor plants, baked goods, artwork, handmade jewelry, pottery and soap. Prepared food and a beer and wine garden sit near the middle of the market. It runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and admission is free. On Sundays, on-street parking within walking distance is free, metered spaces included, and when the curb fills up there are paid garages on South Osceola Avenue and North Eola Drive. Most vendors take cash or cards and most booths accept SNAP or EBT. An ATM sits at the center of the market. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on a leash no longer than eight feet.
