Every Saturday morning, more than 100 vendors fill the Downtown Pavilion in historic Winter Garden with Florida produce, baked goods, gourmet provisions and artisan crafts. The market has run since 2008 and draws about 3,500 shoppers a week, and the American Farmland Trust has repeatedly voted it the best farmers market in Florida. Live music plays from the center of the market, and on select dates the city adds free programming with a kids craft station and lawn games. Know before you go: admission is free and the market runs 8:00 am to 1:00 pm year round. Downtown parking is always free, including the three-level garage at 160 S. Boyd Street next door, the City Hall lot at 300 W. Plant Street, and a 117-space lot at 37 N. Boyd Street. EBT and SNAP are accepted at the tent by the pavilion entrance. Leashed dogs and cats are welcome, with leashes no longer than eight feet. Bikes, skateboards and scooters are not allowed inside the market. The interactive fountain and Butterfly Sculpture Park sit right alongside, so bring a blanket.
