Every Saturday morning, the west meadow of Winter Park's Central Park fills with about 60 vendors selling produce, plants, cut flowers, cheese, coffee, and fresh baked goods. Know before you go: the market is free and runs 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday, set near the corner of New York Avenue and Morse Boulevard in the historic train-depot district. Come early, when the produce is at its best and the crowd is still thin. Bring a tote and a little cash for the smaller stalls, then settle onto a shaded park bench with your coffee. The market keeps its rhythm year-round, pausing only for the Sidewalk Art Festival in March and the Autumn Art Festival in October.
