More than 110 cultures supply the music, dance, food and art at FusionFest, two free days at Loch Haven Park the Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving. It grew out of Orange County's arts and cultural affairs office and has kept the same shape ever since: stages running continuous music and dance, a Fashion Heritage runway, poetry slams and storytelling, a Field of Flags, cultural display tents, an international marketplace, and a Foods of the World row. The Family Village covers the kid side with arts and crafts and giant puppets, and children build a cardboard village there themselves. No ticket is required. Saturday runs from mid-morning into the evening. Sunday is a shorter afternoon. Parking is in the Loch Haven lots shared with the Orlando Science Center and the neighboring theaters. It all happens outdoors, so wear shoes you can walk in. Pets are welcome.
