Fiesta in the Park
195 N Rosalind Ave, Orlando, FL 32801
About this happenin
Fiesta in the Park rings Lake Eola with hundreds of artist and crafter booths twice a year, the first weekend of April and the first full weekend of November. The festival has been running since the early 1970s, which makes it one of downtown Orlando's oldest standing traditions, and it is staged by a volunteer committee that channels proceeds to the Orlando Community & Youth Trust. Rows of white tents fill the closed streets and lakefront paths with handmade jewelry, painting, woodwork and ceramics, alongside live entertainment on the lawn and a children's zone of games and crafts. Know before you go: admission is free at both the spring and fall editions, and each day runs 10am to 5pm. The organizers point drivers to downtown garages, with the Library Garage at 112 East Central Boulevard the closest walk in. It is a pet friendly festival, so expect leashed dogs throughout. Food vendors, food trucks, desserts and cold drinks are on site, so lunch is covered.
