About this happenin
Festival of Trees fills the Orlando Museum of Art each November with more than 50 designer-decorated Christmas trees, wreaths, gingerbread houses and holiday tablescapes. The Council of 101 has staged it for close to four decades as its fundraiser for the museum, and the scale shows: gallery after gallery of trees, a silent auction and raffle, pop-up shopping in the Holiday Boutique and Toyland, live entertainment through the day, and Santa Claus Lane for photos on weekends. Know before you go: the festival opens 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily across its nine-day run. Admission has recently been $23 for adults and $15 for children ages 3 to 12, seniors 60 and up, and active-duty military and first responders with valid ID. Parking is free in the lot beside the museum in Loch Haven Park. The Festival Café serves 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Ticketed extras such as the opening night TreeView Party, Breakfast with Santa and the children's Reindeer Romp are sold separately.
