Snow falls on Market Street on the hour at 6, 7, 8 and 9 p.m. through the holidays in Celebration, where soap flakes stand in for the real thing and the pastel storefronts do the rest. Now Snowing has run since the late 1990s, opening the Saturday after Thanksgiving and repeating nightly through December 31. Between snowfalls the town center fills in around it with a synthetic ice rink, horse-drawn carriage rides, a train, strolling carolers in Dickens dress, photos with Santa, and community performances and concerts spread across the season. Know before you go: admission is free and so is parking. Evening programming runs roughly 6 to 9:30 p.m., so the 6 p.m. snowfall is the one to aim for with small children and the later hours are quieter for walking the lights. Celebration sits just off US 192 near Kissimmee, a short drive from the Disney corridor, and the streets are flat and walkable if you bring a stroller.
