Snow falls on Market Street on the hour at 6, 7, 8 and 9 p.m. through the holidays in Celebration, where soap flakes stand in for the real thing and the pastel storefronts do the rest. Now Snowing has run since the late 1990s, opening the Saturday after Thanksgiving and repeating nightly through December 31. The town center has a synthetic ice rink, horse-drawn carriage rides, a train, carolers strolling in Dickens dress and photos with Santa, and community performances and concerts are spread across the season. Evening programming runs roughly 6 to 9:30 p.m., and admission is free. The 6 p.m. snowfall suits small children best; the later hours are quieter for walking the lights. Celebration is just off US 192 near Kissimmee, a short drive from the Disney corridor, with free parking and flat streets that are easy going with a stroller.
