Fanboy Expo Orlando is a three-day comic convention of celebrity guests, comic artists, vendors and cosplay in the International Drive convention district. The format holds steady year to year: autograph and photo op tables for screen and comic book guests, a dealer floor, Q&A panels and a cosplay contest, with a fresh guest list announced in the months beforehand. Know before you go: doors open 4pm Friday and run to 9pm, Saturday runs 10am to 6pm, and Sunday is the short day, 11am to 5pm. Tickets are sold in advance or at the door, and admission is separate from autographs, photo ops and fan packages, which each guest prices individually through their own management. Bags and backpacks are allowed but searched at entry. The full panel and signing schedule usually posts three to four weeks out. The venue has moved between Orlando convention hotels and the Orange County Convention Center, so confirm the address before you set off.
