Top Orlando chefs cook for Celebrate Lunar, and their dishes come from China, Korea, Vietnam, the Philippines, Japan, Thailand, Cambodia and more. The Lunar New Year festival takes over Luminary Green Park in downtown Orlando's Creative Village for a Saturday, with vendor booths around the lawn. Lion dance teams and cultural performers keep going through the day. Heritage & Hope hosts it. The festival was built with local high school Asian American clubs, so students help lead it and show their own culture. Admission is ticketed, and kids pay less than adults.
