Kelly Park Rock Springs
Apopka, FL · Central Florida$
Rock Springs pushes about 26,000 gallons a minute of 68-degree water out of a cave at the head of Kelly Park, and the run it feeds is the whole point: you drop in at the boil and…

Getting in costs nothing at the Rotary Club of Apopka's Fall Family Festival. You pay $5 to park, and the carnival midway is paid by the ride. It runs four days, Thursday through Sunday, at Kit Land Nelson Park on N. Forest Avenue in Apopka. Ride tickets are $1 each. A ride takes anywhere from one to seven, and the average one takes four, so the 24-ticket family pack at $20 covers about six rides. If your kids ride a lot, the $25 arm band is the better deal, but it's sold only on Thursday evening and on Sunday between noon and 2, good until 4. Food and merchandise vendors set up along the midway with the carnival games. The beer garden pours beer and wine for the grown-ups. A Kids Markets section runs alongside, and on some evenings an acoustic musician plays. Gates have opened at 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, 2 p.m. on Saturday and noon on Sunday.
