About this happenin

The North Miami Greek Festival is the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church's annual weekend at 12250 NW 2nd Avenue, held over a Friday to Sunday in early November. There is no entry fee and no charge to park, though the church welcomes donations. Hours have been 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Gyros and souvlaki are on the menu, with baklava and Greek coffee for afterward. Local vendors sell dishes of their own. A Greek marketplace runs alongside, with raffles and prizes. Live music and folk dancing go on through the weekend, and the church offers tours of its sanctuary, a white building with a blue dome.
