Local art lines Miracle Mile in Coral Gables for two days at Carnaval on the Mile. The Kiwanis Club of Little Havana runs it, and it is free to walk in. It opens at 10 am on a Saturday and Sunday in early March. Children get their own area, the Kidz Nook, with activities for all ages. The festival is one piece of Carnaval Miami, the club's annual run of events that also includes the Calle Ocho Music Festival. The club names an official poster artist, and the original piece is auctioned for its children's programs.
