Autentico is the Italian food and wine festival of the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce Southeast, held at the Coral Gables Country Club on Alhambra Circle. The chamber calls it the only high-end food and wine festival in Miami that focuses mainly on Italian cooking. It runs in two parts. A trade session comes first, where Italian producers meet U.S. importers and buyers over panels and networking. The public part is the evening Grand Tasting. More than 30 stations pour over 150 wines, and there is a Pizza Village. Tastings are unlimited while supplies last, in an open-air setting. Guests must be 21 or older. Grand Tasting tickets run $85 plus fees. The festival has been held as early as late April and as late as mid June.
