Ohio's only national park, Cuyahoga Valley follows the winding Cuyahoga River between Cleveland and Akron, threading waterfalls, wetlands, and old canal towns into one free-to-enter green corridor. Its centerpiece is 65-foot Brandywine Falls, reached by a short boardwalk near Peninsula, while the flat Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail traces the route mules once walked towing canal boats.
