About

Ohio's only national park, Cuyahoga Valley follows the winding Cuyahoga River between Cleveland and Akron, threading waterfalls, wetlands, and old canal towns into one free-to-enter green corridor. Its centerpiece is 65-foot Brandywine Falls, reached by a short boardwalk near Peninsula, while the flat Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail traces the route mules once walked towing canal boats. Ride the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad to hop between trailheads without driving.
