"What'll ya have? What'll ya have?" is how the counter crew greets you at The Varsity, across the I-75/85 Connector from Georgia Tech in Atlanta. Frank Gordy opened it in 1928 as The Yellow Jacket, serving Tech students, and it now covers two city blocks with room for 800 diners inside. The right answer is a chili dog and an F.O., the Frosted Orange, which is Varsity Orange blended with vanilla shake mix. Curb service is closed, so park and go in. On game days it feeds more than 30,000 people.
