On the second Saturday of every month, galleries and working studios across seven St. Petersburg arts districts open free from 5 to 9 pm, with trolleys linking them. Central Arts, Grand Central, Warehouse Arts, Uptown Arts, Deuces Live, the Edge and the Waterfront each run their own version of the evening, so pick a neighborhood and start there. The Warehouse Arts District trolley loops past the Morean Center for Clay, Duncan McClellan Gallery, FloridaRAMA and the Five Deuces. On Central Avenue, the trolley connects downtown stops such as Iris Photo Gallery and The Werk Gallery. The Warehouse Arts District trolley runs 6 to 10 pm and comes around every 30 to 35 minutes. Parking mixes metered and free on-street spaces with downtown garages, and the ArtsXchange campus charges $5 for event parking. The SunRunner stops nearby. Kids are welcome. Wear shoes you can cover blocks in.
