The second Saturday of every month, galleries and working studios across seven St. Petersburg arts districts open free from 5 to 9 pm, linked by trolleys. Central Arts, Grand Central, Warehouse Arts, Uptown Arts, Deuces Live, the Edge and the Waterfront each run their own version of the evening, so it reads less as a fixed route than a choice of neighborhoods. The Warehouse Arts District trolley loops past the Morean Center for Clay, Duncan McClellan Gallery, FloridaRAMA and the Five Deuces, while the Central Avenue trolley connects downtown stops such as Iris Photo Gallery, Sugar Cream Clay and The Werk Gallery. Know before you go: admission is free and galleries keep 5 to 9 pm hours, while the Warehouse Arts District trolley runs 6 to 10 pm and comes around every 30 to 35 minutes. Parking mixes metered and free on-street spaces with downtown garages, and the SunRunner stops nearby; the ArtsXchange campus charges $5 for event parking. Kids are welcome. Wear shoes you can cover blocks in.
