St. Pete Pride's waterfront parade steps off from Albert Whitted Park at 6 on a Saturday in late June and heads north along Bayshore Drive to Vinoy Park. The TransMarch starts in Vinoy about an hour before the parade, and its own festival for trans and gender-expansive communities opens there at 2. The main festival runs from 2 to 9 in North and South Straub Parks, a few blocks south of Vinoy on the parade route. Both days are free apart from a ticketed VIP area in the Straub Parks. On Sunday, Central Avenue closes to cars through the Grand Central District for the Street Fair on Central, noon to 5. St. Pete Pride grew out of a Pride Promenade in 2003 and calls this Florida's largest Pride event. About 300,000 people came for the weekend in 2026, by its count. Bayshore Drive closes to traffic early Saturday afternoon, so ride in. PSTA has run free park-and-ride buses and SunRunner service for the parade.
