Every evening on Clearwater Beach, the Pier 60 boardwalk fills with local artisans, buskers and street performers timed to one of the Gulf Coast's best sunsets. Know before you go: admission is free. The festival runs from about two hours before sunset to two hours after, which in summer means roughly 6 to 10 p.m., weather permitting. Browse handcrafted work and catch live entertainment as the sky changes, then stay for the colors over the water. Beach parking is paid and available in lots and along the sand nearby, with ParkMobile at most spots. It is welcoming for families and easygoing for a stroll. Bring a camera for the sunset, and note that service dogs are the only pets allowed on the pier and beach.
