Seafood boils on the Intracoastal and five free blues acts a day: the city of Clearwater has staged the Sea-Blues Festival in Coachman Park since 2007. National touring names share the main stage with Florida players. Local vendors sell crawfish on the green, and the drinks are craft beer and wine. Seating on the green is festival style, so bring a chair or a blanket, or pay around $75 for a Captain's Krewe upgrade, which adds open seating in front of the main stage, a private lounge and bar, two drinks and a meal. Music starts at 2 p.m. each day and runs into the evening. General admission is free and needs no ticket. Bags are allowed, and the park suits families. The Garden Avenue Garage at 28 N Garden Ave is free all day on weekends, and Lot 11 on Pierce Street sits closest at $2.25 an hour.

Outside weekday work hours, the Municipal Services Building garage at 640 Pierce Street lets the public park free on its first two floors, except where posted. Lot 11, the closest lot, has 156 spaces.
