Kicks off at 10 a.m. on Dillard Street at Palmetto Street, by the Wells Fargo, and goes north on Dillard. It turns left onto Plant Street, runs west through historic downtown and ends at Park Avenue.

Pick a spot on Plant Street for Winter Garden's Christmas Parade, which runs from 10 to 11 a.m. the morning after Light Up Winter Garden. That's the Friday evening event that switches on the downtown lights at 6:15. The parade heads west along Plant Street from Dillard Street to Park Avenue through Historic Downtown. Expect floats and community groups with holiday entertainment. Santa Claus makes an appearance too. It's free, and the city suggests lawn chairs and blankets. West Plant Street is closed to cars from Dillard Street to Park Avenue from Friday afternoon through Saturday night, so park in the free garage at 160 S. Boyd Street or another free public lot and walk in. The Main Street Holiday Stroll, a season-long display of decorated trees and storefronts, sits just off the route on South Main Street. The Christmas Golf Cart Parade comes down West Plant Street at 6 that evening.
