Spring Fever in the Garden closes brick-paved Plant Street in downtown Winter Garden for more than 200 plant and garden vendors every spring. The Bloom & Grow Garden Society has run it for more than two decades, and the shape of the weekend holds steady: racks of annuals and perennials, natives, orchids, herbs and garden art sold straight off the street, alongside the Chalkin' It Up sidewalk chalk contest, an Ask the Expert booth for garden questions, live entertainment, and a KidZone with crafts and face painting. Know before you go: admission is free. Saturday runs 9am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm. West Plant Street is closed to traffic across the weekend, so park at Dillard Elementary School or the lot at 848 E. Plant Street and ride the free city shuttle to the stop at Dillard and Plant. Bring a wagon or folding cart if you plan to carry plants home, plus water and sun cover.
