Jingle Eve is how Ivanhoe Village kicks off Orlando's holiday season, from 4:30 to 9 pm in late November. The village has been throwing it for more than 20 years. The party spreads along Orange Avenue and Virginia Drive and into Gaston Edwards Park. There are beer gardens, music, local artisans and food trucks, and a children's holiday village. Ivanhoe's shops and bars run their own promotions. Entry is free except for the 12 Wines of Christmas, a premium wine walk with its own tickets. Fireworks go up over the shores of Lake Ivanhoe to end the night.
