Ultra Music Festival
301 N. Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132
Bayfront Park has no parking, and the closest hotels in Downtown Miami are about a five-minute walk away. Checked in October, four downtown hotels sold Ultra weekend only as Friday to Monday, and the closest would not sell either night alone; this guide says which sell one night.
About this happenin
Held in Miami since 1999, Ultra Music Festival runs three days of electronic music at Bayfront Park on Biscayne Bay. The festival sells tickets directly, as a three-day general admission pass and a VIP tier. General admission is 18 and over. VIP entry and buying alcohol are 21 and over, and everyone needs a valid photo ID every day. Bags have to be clear and no bigger than 13 by 17 inches, although fanny packs and small clutches are fine. Once you leave you can't come back in, and there is no camping. Gate hours run into the night. The park has no parking, but the free Metromover stops right outside. Brightline and Tri-Rail both add late trains from MiamiCentral, about a mile's walk away, and Metrorail runs until 2 am on Friday and Saturday.
