About this happenin
The Haitian Compas Festival is a one-day celebration of Haitian music and culture at the NoMI Village in North Miami, held in mid-May during Haitian Heritage Month on the Saturday closest to Haitian Flag Day, May 18. Every edition since 2023 has followed that rule. In 2025 the festival moved here from Bayfront Park. Doors open at 1 p.m., and the festival runs from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. even in the rain. General admission has been $70, and VIP, which adds a shaded seating area, $200. Children under 10 are free. The FAQ says tickets can be bought at the gate. Nearby parking is promised. Outside food and drink, glass, pets and weapons are not allowed in, and there is no re-entry.
More in May: 4 other Miami events.
