About this happenin
The WeHo Pride Parade comes down Santa Monica Boulevard on the Sunday of the City of West Hollywood's Pride weekend in early June, and most of the weekend happens a few blocks either side of it, in West Hollywood Park and the Rainbow District. The Street Fair lines the boulevard with exhibitors and two community stages, and like the parade it is free. OUTLOUD, the music festival in West Hollywood Park, is ticketed, while Friday Night at OUTLOUD is free if you register for a ticket ahead. The Dyke March starts right after the Women's Freedom Festival and rolls behind a line of motorcycles. The season opens on Harvey Milk Day, May 22, with a drag pageant named for José Julio Sarria. Pride events have been held in West Hollywood since 1979, five years before the city incorporated. The city launched WeHo Pride under that name in 2022.
More in June: 10 other Los Angeles events.
