Anyone with a show can enter Hollywood Fringe. No curator picks the program, so each June more than 400 productions land in theaters, parks, clubs, churches and restaurants, over 25 venues across central Hollywood. The festival began in 2010 as Hatchery Arts and is run as a nonprofit. The box office gives all of its takings back to the artists and venues, more than five million dollars so far. Tickets are bought show by show, and some shows are free or pay what you can. Fringe HQ is a pop-up with the box office and a bar, and its staff will help you pick from a program that size.
