250 juried artists set up along the Hillsborough River in Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park, and walking in costs nothing. It's the 57th year of a show that started as a juried exhibit at the Florida State Fair, parked near the horticulture displays and the livestock barns, before art activists moved it onto downtown sidewalks. Judges hand out up to $92,000, including $15,000 for Best in Show, so what's on the booth walls is competing, not just hanging. Saturday runs 9 to 6 and Sunday 10 to 5, and Sunday morning is when you can actually talk to the artists.
