About this happenin
Ransom E. Olds, the man behind Oldsmobile, founded Oldsmar in 1916, and Oldsmar Days & Nights, held since 1967, still puts his cars up front. On Saturday afternoon R.E. Olds Park on Upper Tampa Bay holds a dedicated Oldsmobile show beside an open class that turns up Metropolitans and hot rods. The parade moves through the heart of town on Saturday morning. Sunday adds a Jeep show and Wing Wars, a wing cook-off among area restaurants. The carnival midway, a vendor market, live bands and food trucks run the whole weekend. The Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce and the City of Oldsmar put it on. Entry to the park is free. Hours usually start Friday at 5pm, then run 11am to 10pm on Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sunday.
