About this happenin

Keel Farms is a working farm and winery in Plant City, and every Saturday and Sunday in October it sets out a pumpkin patch for Harvest Days, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Walking in is free. Parking is $10 a car. Pick a pumpkin and paint it at the tables (the painting costs nothing if you buy the pumpkin there), then walk the corn maze. A hay ride around the farm takes a $5 wristband that stays good all day. Kids can feed the goats or run off to the bounce houses, and there is a pumpkin pie eating contest. Local craft vendors and food trucks set up on the farm. Dogs are welcome. The bars pour the farm's own pumpkin cider.

More in October: 8 other Tampa Bay events.
