Holiday Lights in the Gardens

Volunteers have built Holiday Lights in the Gardens for more than two decades, stringing more than a million lights through the Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo each holiday season and wrapping trees root to crown. The walk-through route crosses lit bridges and runs through snowflake tunnels. Laser projections play across the open lawns, and there's live entertainment nightly, with holiday concessions along the way. Admission is a suggested $10 donation per person over 12, and you can enter without paying it; the gate takes cash, card, PayPal or Apple Pay. Gates open at 5:30 PM and close at 9:30 PM every night of the run. Paths are paved or hard packed, so strollers and wheelchairs roll fine, and well-behaved dogs are welcome on a six-foot leash. Two free lots serve the gardens, at 12520 Ulmerton Road and 12211 Walsingham Road, with accessible parking at the Walsingham entrance. A calming tent is set up for neurodivergent visitors.
