Consignments sit hood up in the tent lots at Osceola Heritage Park with their tags in the windshield, and you can spend hours out there before you ever reach a seat. Spectators don't need a bidder credential. From a red-carpeted arena, over close to two weeks each January, Mecum sells roughly 4,500 collector cars one after another while bid spotters holler down the aisles. Winged Mopars, Ferraris, Broncos, air-cooled Porsches and oddball Japanese imports all cross the block. Road Art, Mecum's name for the vintage signs and petroliana, runs in its own earlier session most mornings. The park is at 1875 Silver Spur Lane in Kissimmee, and it's cashless. Regular spectator admission runs $30 for one day and $75 for three, before tax and fees (free for children 12 and under). Buying online in advance takes 25 percent off. Seating nearest the block is reserved for sellers and bidders.
