About this happenin

Dancers from more than forty Native nations compete in intertribal dance over three days in late July at Queens County Farm Museum. The Thunderbird American Indians run the powwow. Around the dancing there is a big market of Native American art and jewelry. Food is sold too, and the farm's own advice is not to miss the fry bread. Friday is an evening session, with gates at 6 p.m. and dancing from 7 until 10. On Saturday and Sunday the dancing starts at noon, and Saturday comes back for a second session from 7 p.m. Passes are sold for one day or all three. Children under two don't need a ticket. Parking on the farm is free.
