About this happenin
Documentaries, narrative features and shorts from around the world that explore the Jewish experience fill the Walter Reade Theater on West 65th Street for two weeks every January at the New York Jewish Film Festival. The Jewish Museum and Film at Lincoln Center present it together. They call it among the oldest and most influential Jewish film festivals anywhere, and it has run for more than three decades. Many of the films are New York or U.S. premieres. A good share of screenings end with a Q&A, often with the director. Tickets are sold per screening, and students, seniors 62 and over, people with disabilities and members of either institution pay less.
