About this happenin
Every event at the New York City Wine & Food Festival is 21 and over. There are more than 50 of them over four days each October at the Seaport in Lower Manhattan: walk-around tastings, dinners, cocktail parties, brunches, master classes and FoodieCon. The Grand Tasting comes with live culinary demos. The Rooftop at Pier 17, looking out on the Brooklyn Bridge and the East River, is now home to the signature events. More than 300 chefs, winemakers and mixologists take part, Food Network's television chefs among them. Each event is ticketed on its own, and packages bundle several together. Net proceeds go to charity.
