Every weekend from spring through October. Saturdays 11am to 6pm at Marsha P. Johnson State Park in Williamsburg, and Sundays 11am to 6pm at Breeze Hill in Prospect Park (enter at Lincoln Road). A Central Park site, 36 Central Park West, runs Fridays to Sundays, 12pm to 8pm.. This one is on regularly rather than a single date, so there is no edition to miss. More than 70 food vendors set up every weekend through the warm months at Smorgasburg, on Saturdays at Marsha P. Johnson State Park in Williamsburg and on Sundays at Breeze Hill in Prospect Park. The market started in Williamsburg in 2011 as an offshoot of Brooklyn Flea. Entry is free and all ages are welcome. It runs rain or shine, though in an all-day downpour some vendors skip it. Williamsburg and Prospect Park both have a bar with beer, wine and cocktails, and kids can come into the licensed areas with their parents. Dogs are welcome at Prospect Park but not at the state park, because of New York State Park rules. Almost every vendor takes cards.
