Holidays & ParadesFlushing Lunar New Year Parade
Ticketed

On Halloween, thousands of children in costume march down 37th Avenue in Jackson Heights, Queens, with their families alongside. The Jackson Heights Beautification Group runs it and calls it the largest children's parade in the city. The route goes from 89th Street to 76th Street, where volunteers hand out more than 3,000 bags of treats. Marching bands play along the way, and a Thriller dance has joined in recent years. All ages are welcome. Local businesses and donations pay for the parade, and neighborhood volunteers usually stuff the goodie bags the day before.
