On a Sunday each spring, Fifth Avenue closes between 62nd and 74th Streets for Israel Day on Fifth, with Central Park along the west side of the route. The parade runs from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. over those 12 blocks. The Jewish Community Relations Council of New York organizes it, and UJA-Federation of New York is its partner. Groups that want to march contact the organiser directly, and registration details go up on its site ahead of each parade. Sponsors and press have their own contacts there too. If you cannot make it on the day, the organiser keeps a recording of the most recent parade online to watch on demand.
